The MZ223 offers 3 zone outputs with individual level control and 3 band EQ. It has 2 mono mic/line inputs with individual 3 band EQ for microphones or wireless systems along with 5 additional line level inputs for music/AV sources such as tablet/laptop computers, TV feeds, etc. 
The 5 line input levels are controlled via short throw faders for easy and precise control of each input's level. These are so much easier to reach for and find than a rotary control in among lots of others. 
Each input can be routed simultaneously to any of the three zone outputs. 
The MZ223 is equipped with 'proper' phono, jack, and XLR connectors, so you can use normal/ready made cables if you want. No annoying/fiddly/tiny screw terminal connectors. 
It's very space-friendly, taking up only 2U of rackspace (88mm) and is only 93mm deep, so it can easily fit into a suitable space, on or under a bar, etc.
It even has an 'auto-ducking' facility so you can speak into a microphone and it will automatically reduce the line/music input channel levels. So you don't have to touch the mixer when you shout 'time gentlemen please!'
